2017 Cowlitz River Fishing Report:
This past week Tacoma power has dropped the water and there are still good numbers of winter steelhead and decent numbers of Spring Chinook as well. Side-drifting for steelhead using Ezzy Eggs and yarn, corky and yarn as well as Beads. Colors to use Orange, Pink, Red. Springers love cured roe, Sand shrimp, and Coon Shrimp on a diver back trolled. On the Oregon side Oregon salmon fishing guides have started to experience increased catch rates as well.
